Growth Stages of Plants (Αναπτυξιακά στάδια των φυτών - έκδοση στα αγγλικά)

A principle requirement for applied scientists involved in plant production is the need for a standard and uniform description of the clearly visible growth stages of plants; this is provided by the BBCH scale. This handbook describes all field crops of major commercial importance (including rice, soya, peanuts and cotton) as well as important fruit and vegetables. In addition, the growth stage characteristics of significant weed species are also included. The BBCH scale is now an internationally recognised standard, increasingly employed by scientists world-wide. Of particular significance is the fact that the book appears in four languages and thus contributes to a large extent to reducing linguistic communication problems.
